Molly Dye was born and raised in Augusta, Georgia, and developed her love of sewing as a home-economics major at the University of Georgia. After a long and successful career in politics in the office of United States Senator Paul Coverdell, Molly went home to help take care of her aging mother. It was there, watching her Mom and her caregiver struggle and strain to remove her mother’s outer clothing before even getting to the adult diaper underneath, Molly thought, “There has just got to be a better way to do this...” she said. She “Dug up her sewing machine from college” and thus was born the first prototype of CareZips® pants.

After more than several prototypes, Molly enlisted the help of Savannah College of Art & Design to arrive at the final design for CareZips® patented unisex pants with unique three zipper system that makes changing an adult brief faster and easier! She then contracted with Incompass Manufacturing, a well-established and successful manufacturer of surgical scrubs and other clothing to make and warehouse the pants. Today, CareZips® are currently available in 4 colors and 7 sizes from Extra Small to xxxLarge.
