A story of love and purpose...
Like many of you, the founder, Diana Takach, is a wife and a mom – and most similarly, she wants her children to be confident, comfortable and empowered. This mom of 3, to Olivia, Dean and Norah, is an entrepreneur at heart, but also manage to run an eCommerce operation in the fashion industry, as her day job. What’s better than knowing that from anywhere in the world, a customer in need, can get anything delivered to their door.
Me Do. started with the goal of creating products with a purpose – that empower children, every day. Diana’s son Dean, while very determined, struggles with sensory processing delays which have made even the simplest of tasks a little more challenging for him, compared to her neurotypical older daughter, Olivia. Trying to get him to wear a hat on his head, we still haven’t perfected. He is often bothered by the stitching on the inside of his t-shirts, and bless his heart, he is bound and determined on doing everything. Himself.
The name “Me Do.” actually comes from many children insisting on “Me do it!” with regards to everything. We are just getting started with two clothing basics. Our Me Do. T and Sweatpant are made with the lightest seams, softest cotton, and a little bunny to help, with the goal of addressing the needs of children who are just learning to dress themselves. More products will keep coming staying true to our purpose.
We’ve set out to create items that offer a unisex fit combined with sourcing only the finest materials. The color selection is also highly curated to not overstimulate the child and distract them from their goals. We make our products with love, right here in New York City.
It is our hope and passion that you’ll love this brand, and your child will love the products, as much as we do at Me Do.
